JOB DETAILS:
NTPC Limited is India’s largest integrated power company with an installed capacity of 70,254 MW and has a presence in the entire value chain of the power generation business. A. Name of Post: Executive (Process Engineering — Urea/Ammonia) – 01 Post for up to 05 years
Qualification:
Graduate Engineering Degree in Chemical discipline with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized University/
Institute.
Experience Requirement:
Minimum 05 years post qualification relevant experience in Operation and Process Engineering
of Ammonia and Urea plants out of which minimum 02 years experience in DCS operation. Conversant with Engineering and
Operation of Gas Turbines, Safety systems of Urea/ammonia and Storage tanks, General HSE Conditions of the Fertilizer
industry, FICC-related matters, Fire and Safety Systems, Zero effluent discharge facilities, and Neem oil coating
requirements. Candidates having experience in a medium to large size Urea/Ammonia Projects will be preferred
B. Name of Post: Executive (Process Engineering—Chemical/Methanol) – 01 Post for up to 05 years.
Qualification:
Graduate Engineering Degree in Chemical discipline with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized University/
Institute.
Experience Requirement:
Minimum 05 years post qualification relevant experience in Operation and Process Engineering
of Methanol/hydroprocessing/refinery/Methanol derivatives plants out of which minimum 02 years experience in DCS
operation. Conversant with Engineering and Operation NG-SMR based Methanol/Chemical/Fuel plants, Safety aspects of
these plants, Storage tanks, General HSE Conditions of the Chemical industry, Fire and Safety Systems, and Zero effluent discharge
facilities. Candidates having experience in a medium to large-size NG-based methanol/chemical/fuel Projects will be preferred.
C. Name of Post: Executive (Sustainable Development/ Carbon Management) – 02 posts for up to 03 years
Qualification:
Post Graduate Degree in Environment or Graduate in Engineering with at least 60% marks from recognized
University/Institute. Candidates with MBA (or equivalent) and/or MSc./ M. Tech/Ph.D in the relevant field (economics,
environment, sustainability, public policy) will be preferred.
Experience Requirement:
Minimum 02 years experience in Industry (Manufacturing, services, Consultancy) in fields of
either of Management, Sustainable Development/ ESG with hands-on experience in Report preparation and data
management.
D. Name of Post: Executive (Bio-Energy) —01 posts for up to 03 years
Qualification:
Graduate Engineering Degree/ ME / MTech in Mechanical/Chemical/Renewable Energy with at least 60%

applying. No other means/ mode of application shall be accepted. Candidates are required to possess a valid email ID. NTPC
will not be responsible for bouncing back any email sent to the candidates. Candidates belonging to the General/EWS/OBC
category are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 300/-. The SC/ST/PWD/XSM category & female
candidates need not pay the registration fee.
Payment in offline mode: State Bank of India has been authorized to collect the registration fee, in a specially opened
account (A/C No. 30987919993) at the CAG branch, New Delhi (Code: 09996), on behalf of NTPC. Candidate has to approach
the nearby SBI branch with a printout of the “pay-in-slip” which is available on the application registration portal. The pay-in-
slip printed from the portal should only be used for depositing the fee for proper crediting of the amount in the allocated account.
On receipt of the money, the bank will issue a unique Journal Number and a Branch Code of the bank collecting the money.
This journal number and the branch code are to be filled up by the candidate during online registration. NTPC will not be
responsible, in case a candidate deposits the fee in the wrong account.
Payment in online mode: Candidates also have the option to pay the fees online (through Net banking / Debit Card (Rupay
debit cards Only) / Credit Card). The online payment option will be available in the online application form.
The fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates are therefore requested to verify their
eligibility criteria before paying the registration fee. After applying online, a candidate is required to download the
registration slip generated by the system with the unique registration number. A copy of the registration slip may be retained by the
candidate for future reference. No document is required to be sent to us by post.
